intuitive are an innovative travel system development company based in south London. They have a strong background in tour operating pricing and contracting solutions, however since 2004 have solely focused on their web-based dynamic packaging and tour operating system – iVector.
iVector has been developed to take advantage of the travel industry’s rapidly growing dynamic package sector whilst also offering traditional tour operating functionality.
The product is developed and supported in-house by a full-time team of over 30 business and technology professionals.
With major clients such as The Lowcost Travel Group, Webjet, Easyjet Holidays, The TotalStay Group and Lastminute Holidays all live with intuitive and investing in the platform, intuitive are in a strong position to deploy iVector to other leading operators worldwide.
iVector is an end to end web-based selling and product management system. intuitive’s clients will sell at least one of the following travel components - flights, hotels, transfers, cruise or extras (insurance, car parking etc.).
One of the key benefits and differentiators of iVector is the ability to source and combine product. This can either be from directly contracted inventory or live via the interfaces with other reservation platforms (3rd party providers). iVector’s direct contracting modules are widely regarded as the most comprehensive in the market. Couple this with interfaces to over seventy 3rd party providers, intuitive’s product offering is very strong.
Whether the product is sourced directly, or via a 3rd party interface, it can be priced live and sold in either the call centre module, online, or distributed via XML. The underlying booking engine is the same for each channel and the bookings are stored centrally.
The system can be sold as a standalone platform, however, much of the development that intuitive undertake is building and maintaining websites that are powered by iVector harnessing the underlying booking engine and content management system.
The product is multilingual and multi-currency (both buying and selling), and has been implemented in Germany, Belgium, Sweden, Norway, Spain, Italy, Canada, Australia, France and Norway.
