Open Destinations offers complete range of E-commerce solutions For the Travel Technology Show, Open Destinations are proud to showcase for the first time exciting developments to their e-commerce offering. The integration of an open source content management system (CMS) with Open Destinations’ reservation management systems now provides the ability to easily configure a personalised web site and to add free content such as blogs, wikis, weather and event information. This means that flexible and cost effective online solutions can be offered to all sizes of travel suppliers.

For larger organisations who may have made a substantial investment in an existing web site, a complete choice of online solutions are available using Travel Studio, Open Destinations’ flexible and market leading reservation management system. It is possible to maintain an existing web site and integrate against a comprehensive web services API available from Travel Studio to provide online search and book capability. Alternatively, a decision could be taken to use existing web sites designs, but to use Travel Studio and its associated CMS to provide complete online functionality.

For start–up and smaller operations, Open Destinations offers Travel Builder. This has more basic functionality and offers a low cost real time reservations management system that is fully hosted and enables online bookings.
