edition of Travel Technology Europe has been created to provide high
quality, practical and inspirational content for Europe’s top travel
technology professionals; over 4,500 of whom are expected to attend the
two day event in February 2013.
Europe’s largest travel-related technology and marketing event, Travel
Technology Europe is focused on bringing together technology, travel
trade and transport professionals to offer insightful expert guidance on
technology purchases, useful advice on distribution, revenue, marketing
and sales strategies and topical debates around the hottest technology
issues affecting travel businesses.
David Chapple, event director, Travel Technology Europe commented:
“Travel Technology Europe is an unmissable event for anyone working in
the travel industry, looking to improve their online presence, increase
sales, convert browsers to bookers or enhance and streamline their admin
processes. It is the only place in Europe where visitors can discover
the market’s leading technology solutions to improve business
performance and increase their competitive edge. This year, to
celebrate the show’s ten year anniversary, TTE is bigger and better than
ever, with more suppliers, products, services and more conference
sessions.”
As well as the free ‘Travel Technology Advice Centre’, which provides
indispensable one-on-one technology guidance to visitors, the 2013
edition of Travel Technology Europe sees the return of the popular ‘Tech
Launch Pad’ where visitors can meet the hottest new talent in travel
technology and source the market’s latest technology solutions.
In the conference room theatre, industry experts will stage a series of
case study presentations, highlighting how technology has helped real
businesses overcome recent challenges. Running parallel to this will be
another free seminar programme, being held on the main stage, aimed at
offering an insight into current travel technology trends. Open to all
visitors, subjects up for discussion will range from e-commerce and the
use of Google advertising; to the future of mobile marketing; and online
video and social media networks.
However, the event is not just about the technology, it’s also about the
people. TTE 2013 offers an unrivalled opportunity to catch up with new
providers, bolster existing relationships and network with people from
the best of Europe’s travel technology companies. Visitors to Europe’s
premier travel technology event typically come from right across the
travel and tourism sector ranging from tour operators, travel agents and
online travel providers to representatives from destination management
companies, cruise companies and airlines.
To celebrate its ten year anniversary and in conjunction with headline
sponsor Travelport, Travel Technology Europe is also launching an
exclusive VIP programme of high level learning sessions, peer-to-peer
networking events and unrivalled sourcing opportunities. Specifically
geared towards CIO’s, IT Directors and revenue, distribution and
