Cartrawler scoops Innovation Award

Cartrawler is delighted to have been awarded the inaugural 'Innovation Award' at the Travel Technology Show 2008 hosted at Earls Court, London. The car rental distribution company scooped the award, voted for by show attendees, which recognises innovation, ingenuity and true leadership in the travel technology industry.
"We are absolutely delighted to win this award as innovation is and will continue to be fundamental to the success of our product." said CEO Greg Turley on learning of the win. "We faced some stiff competition, but in the end we are pleased that show attendees recognised our product as groundbreaking, flexible and a source of revenue generation for the travel industry."
CarTrawler is a next generation global car rental distribution system, enabling customers to access real-time pricing, availability and bookings from 450 car hire suppliers in 134 countries, from within their existing sites. By integrating its technology into booking engines CarTrawler facilitates the dynamic cross-selling of car rental, a high yield, uncomplicated product into Airline, Hotel, OTAs, and National Tourism Organisations & Travel Agency Call Centres across all customer touch-points.
This award follows other awards for Cartrawler. Greg Turley was recently listed as one of the Top 50 travel "Power Players" by Travolution Magazine; and on launching Cartrawler, was nominated for the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2005.
