DATABASICS and Cornerstone Automate “Ghost Card” Reconciliation to Simplify Travel and Expense Reporting

Wednesday, November 24, 2010

Webcast will Detail Benefits of Integrating Travel, Corporate Card, and Expense Data

Reston, Virginia - October 21, 2010:DATABASICS and Cornerstone Information Systems today announced a solution to automate the reconciliation of corporate “ghost card” data, which is one of the most dreaded and time-consuming travel and accounting requirements. This DATABASICS solution will leverage Cornerstone data to completely eliminate corporate resources from the reconciliation process and introduce transparency into a company’s ghost card practices.

Available immediately for joint DATABASICS Expense Reporting (1) and Cornerstone iBank (2) customers, the new solution gives enterprises the flexibility to seamlessly match ghost card travel transactions with the proper traveler, allowing for a detailed association in the expense report of the transaction. Once transactions are matched in the expense reporting solution, standard reports can be generated to reconcile and analyze ghost card transactions.

“Most companies have no visibility into the individual details of a ghost card statement, which is critical for agile enterprises to operate effectively and efficiently,” said Alan Tyson, DATABASICS CEO. “With Cornerstone, we can instantly take bulk, non-descript, transactions of the ghost card and associate all the details companies require. This is of great value to corporations directly, and to the TMCs that support them.”

“Our corporate customers face the daunting challenge of ghost card reconciliation every day. It is a labor intensive and costly task that must be done. The integration of Cornerstone and DATABASICS technologies enables the seamless merge of the critical data and significantly streamlines the process of identifying and appropriately allocating travel expenses,” said Alan Minton, Cornerstones’ Senior Vice President.

DATABASICS and Cornerstone will present a webinar for travel and accounting personnel on the value of ghost card reconciliation on October 28 at 1:00pm EDT and November 2nd at 10:00am EDT. To register and learn more about the webcast, visit www.ciswired.com/DATABASICS.
